Joe Everett Michaels, a California native and West Hollywood local, has worked in all facets of the entertainment industry. At the time of Boystown: West Hollywood 2006, he was producing Mommie Queerest,” a campy parody of the Joan Crawford biopic, Mommie Dearest ” at the modest Comedy Central Theater on Santa Monica Boulevard. Its success gave Joe a chance to travel internationally.
He has since collaborated with Stephen King, and producers, Jack W. Batman, Bruce Robert Harris, Jane Lynch, and the Transfer Group, to produce “Carrie the Musical” which played 30 timesat the highly acclaimed La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts in April 2015 to rave reviews.
Joe currently lives with his beloved chocolate lab, Tucker Elizabeth.
